Attention Fellow PvP Players;

    I am very sorry that I have not been able to get any issues of the paper out recently. I have been in a situation and have not had any time to put the paper together. I will be more active on the server now and I will promise to post more issues each week. If there is anyway I can improve the paper so that more players are involved please let me know.

PvP Paper Owner

No Teleportation

In this season of MooseValley PvP teleportation has been disabled. The commands such as /spawn, 

/f home, and /home have all been disabled. If you do not have a horse this season, I'm sorry, because you will have to walk across the map to get to your destination. Shops are located throughout the map, but keep in mind that you aren't always safe in a shop.

PvP Population

Population on the PvP server has been really low lately and I would like to help boost it. Below is a meter which will be called the population meter. Lets try to reach the goal.

PvP Faction Tips and Tricks:

Due to shops being scattered around the map faction security/privacy may decrease. Here are someways to help keep the location of your faction base unknown.

• Tip #1: Avoid being near the shops. Shops tend to always have player attention.
• Tip #2: Avoid being right next to roads because roads are commonly and often traveled. 
• Tip #3; Do NOT make your base obvious.

Player of the Issue:

Are you curious how a player/mod earns the honor to be player/mod of the issue. I will explain now. The player must exemplify outstanding performance in all categories, These categories are; Respectful, Friendly, Encouraging, Humility, Bravery, and Courageousness. This player is always respectful to anyone he/she meets regardless of any mood that they are in. This player may not always consider themselves the best but they are always working to help one another in a faction function as a team. This player is courageous to stand up  to be the leader at the time when one is not present. This player is brave to persevere even though they may be afraid.This Player should always be friendly to all faction members and players online regardless of reasons. A player always encourages other players to do the right thing and to step up against doing the wrong thing. Lastly. this player must exemplify the true spirit of MooseValley

Mod of the Issue:

How is the moderator chosen?

The moderator must exemplify outstanding performance in all that they do. Mods are the main helpers to the server. They help staff keep MooseValley under control. A mod represents the server as well as their fellow players. They will give guidance to players who need it. A mod worthy of this is one who is patient. Mods should have good reputation because they are the the leaders of the server. Players always look up to the mods and will have players follow the good examples they demonstrate. They will always go above and beyond and expect nothing in return. A mod will always work and fully solve any problem that may occur at that given time and will not leave or put it aside. This mod must exemplify the true spirit of MooseValley.

Issue # 10

Is your faction secure?

The new 1.8 Update the now allows people outside your faction to open doors. You May want to put a block in front of your door so that when they open the door, they are not able to get inside of your base. This can help you keep those unwanted visitors out of your faction territory. You can also put blocks over a chest to lock them inside your base. This is a great way to keeps those unwanted visitors out of your chests.

PvP Population Regained

The PvP Server has regained the population ever since [Dev] Sylar updated the PvP server to 1.8. I love 1.8 but that is just my opinion. Many other people have opinions too. [Mod] Winner5257 says," The 1.8 update is awesome. We have grown in population." [Mod] Jkings81 says," The 1.8 update adds more chances to be creative within the game and has brought more PvP players into the MooseValley Family.

This person has been part of the MV community for 3 years making this year his 4th. He always put his best in everything he does. He has decided to retire the PvP Paper. We will miss John Wiser in everything he did.

I am sorry that I haven't kept up with the MooseValley talk show. I not discontinue the talk show but, until I am able to find a person to fit the job, the MooseValley talk show will not go on air until further notice.

Zeldaman16 is no longer on the staff team anymore as it has been seen. Its comes from us on behalf of our team and the MooseValley, we wish you Good Luck Zelda. The MooseValley Family will never be the same without you because I believe in one way or another you have touched our hearts and made MooseValley special for someone.  Even though you may have left the nest the nest always remains for the eagle. You are always part of the MooseValley Family no matter where you go. Farewell Zelda.

Its so sad to see that the population of the PvP server is dying out. Its a very sad site to see. The PvP Paper will always survive.

New Changes to The PvP Paper - WilliamS5109

People have made comments about changes that they would like to see, and I just want to say thank you for telling me how I can improve. I want everyone to know that your voice has been heard in the suggestions that you all sent. I really appreciate the support you give me and everyone else on the PvP editor team. I will try do an issue twice a week if I have the chance but there will at least be one every week. I have added a debate section to the PvP paper.  One player suggested starting a talk show. I will start one for MooseValley. I would like to say a special thank you to a very special person. He is described as:  Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, and willing to go beyond. He always represents the perfect role as moderator. He is Funny and always has a smile on his face. I believe that he represents the true skills of a Moderator. That person is [SrMod]Heenim.

Shop Prices

The shop prices are taking money and making it hard to actually make some yourself. As I have put in the Forums, I have a problem with making money and Obsidian, steak, and shovels are the main source in gathering money. Obsidian is extremely rare, and starting a cow farm might now be right for the biome you live in, mostly difficult for people who live in deserts. And making iron shovels takes up too much inventory space. I sure hope the PvP team notices the messed up shop prices and soon changes it. All iron tools are sold for $5. Some of those tools are made with extra iron, for instance, the pickaxe is worth 3x farming used to be the main source of money in most PvP servers in minecraft. I know this PvP server is at a start, but we all have our mistakes that need to be fixed.

New Year, New Change

The New Year of 2015 is going to be awesome this year and I can’t wait to see what changes

[Staff] ncnault will make to the PvP Server. I am sure that they are going to be incredible. I have some great new changes for the PvP Paper in the year of 2015 that were submitted by players that I am going to put into effect in Issue 8. I will still continue accept ideas throughout January. Ideas can be sent to me here. I am always open to your thoughts. I want the PvP Paper to be yours, the way you want it.

1st Annual PvP Awards

The PvP Paper is hosting the first annual PvP awards. We will be giving awards to the top three players nominated for the best of PvP. There will also be the top three factions nominated in best of  PvP. The Awards will be done on a livestream on January 31st, 2015 @ 10:00 AM  Central Daylight Time. Productive Day For the Nightmares Faction

Tuesday December 23. The faction Nightmares had a productive day by being AFK in spawn. I don't understand how this is productive but however I guess I should be nice and not judge others, so I am not going to say anything.
